Duties and Responsibilities

• Transport clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and arrange tables.
• Maintain records of food quantities utilized.
• Portion and package food items.
• Prepare, heat, and finalize basic food items.
• Replenish refrigerators and salad bars.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• Manage and store cleaning products.
• Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
• Dispose of kitchen garbage and waste.
• Sharpen kitchen knives.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and polish floors.
• Clean, peel, and dice vegetables and fruits.
