Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide and dispose of bedpans.
- Measure patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Deliver meal trays and assist with feeding patients.
- Perform tasks such as weighing, lifting, turning, and positioning patients.
- Ensure beds are made and maintain the cleanliness of patients’ rooms.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
- Transport patients using wheelchairs or stretchers.
- Respond to call signals.
- Prepare patients for surgery by cleaning, shaving, and sterilizing operative areas.
- Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities and carry out other duties related to patient care and comfort.
- Administer first aid during emergency situations.
